20 Tools


"Web 2.0" (aka the "Read/Write Web") refers to internet sites which allow users to interact, publish, or otherwise be involved with the site without knowing complicated web code.  These sites have revolutionized educational possibilities, allowing students and teachers to connect and collaborate with anyone in the world with internet access.  

 

Since these tools are being built and revised constantly, it is difficult to keep up with the most recent and/or useful of them.   The linkable page ("links" on the sidebar to the right) has lots of resources and is a great place to look for specific tools that fit a subject or topic.  Additionally, the links below are good sites to get you started:

Interactive NETS This is a wiki highlighting tools that can be used for the NETS-S standards.  Complete with lesson plans and rubrics, this is a great site to check out!
