Information Literacy

Page history last edited by Mr. Hanson 14 years, 1 month ago

The ability to find, evaluate, use, and share information is more important to success now than ever before.  A good beginning resource for information literacy is this site from the University of Idaho, which describes what information literacy is, why it is important, and how it is used in every day life.

Technology standards have merged with many of the skills from information literacy, recognizing that today's students need to know not only how to use technology, but how to use it responsibly and effectively to gain knowledge and initiate self-learning and exploration.
